Sunday night I was watching a movie called " School of rock" even though it was funny I thought about Nikiah and what she would be doing right then. When normally she would be asleep in her cot And normally I would be waiting for her to wake up So we could watch the movie together. I realised I wouldnt get interupted ever again. Some people would like that but, I loved it how Nikiah stayed up with me late at night. We were like a pair of night owls. As a breastfeeding mum I dont know how a mum would want to be Away from a baby who is binded by dependency. I miss Nikiah like nothing else in this world. I know no-one can take away the time I had with Nikiah, But thats all I have to remember her by: Her sparkling eyes Her shaved head Her tiny hands and feet Her dainty nose Her unique ears Her free spirit Her boundless energy Her loud babbling Her unsatisfied hunger There are a thousand fasinating things about Nikiah, That I wil never see but, One of the greatest qualities I witnessed Was Nikiah's infectious smile, You could get lost in her smile So make sure you always smile, Be thankful for what you have. Be happy with life. In life you get dealt a card, You cant put the card back if you dont like what you see. Everyone needs to make the most out of every situation, When you truly believe you have made the right choice, Thats when you can accept yourself For who you really are. If you can do that ,then you can do anything. I think that was the way Nikiah lived. Dont worry about the little things, Just smile. So I strive to living my life, Having no regrets, And accepting things for what they are. I would just like to thank Nikiah, For letting me be her mum, And for being my daughter.
